Clare was an important wool village. Now its a nice day out. The more that I am living here, the more I realise that the best way to enjoy living here, is to do just that. It does not have to be a rush to see everything, because you can't.
Dusty and I went out to Clare to have a nice afternoon walk. He loved it! There were plenty of other dogs he was able to see and I couldn't keep him out of the stream. It was really nice especially as the leaves are starting to change colour.
The Clare walk is about 4 miles and is marked but I would suggest printing out the map for reference. Its a great walk for dogs and there are some points you can let them loose to run off all the energy. That goes for children too :) there is a great play area for them to climb on. You can also picnic in the park and get away from it all.
The buildings are beautiful like you see in Lavenham. The town is dominated by the Anglican Church St Peter and St Paul's Church. It is really impressive. Its just nice to stroll around and take it all in.
Hopefully you will find this helpful :)
