The Golden Lion

The Golden Lion off of the Newmarket high street is another nice place for lunch or dinner. When Jon and I lived in Newmarket, we would have a wander into town and eat here. Children are welcome until 7 p.m.

The attraction of any Wetherspoons chain pub is that the food and the drink is cheaper than you will find at other pubs. When people go out clubbing in Newmarket, they generally start at the Golden Lion and work their way down to Deniro's.

They also have a patio area you can sit out on during the summer.
