Moorings and Narrow Boats

If you are near a river, you might see some moorings. Moorings are areas where boats tie themselves up.

Narrow or house boats are long narrow boats that people either live on or sometimes they can be rented to stay in.  You will see these along the River Cam.

I quite like the idea of living on a narrow boat but even I couldn't give up the comforts of my house though!
