Thetford Priory was one of the most important monasteries in East Anglia. Its a lovely place to stop off and have a walk around and there are signs and pictures explaining what is around you.It is free to visit and you could make a half day of it if the weather is nice and have a picnic amongst the ruins. It is very picturesque.
