Clare College

A friend of mine is a member of Clare College and Jon and I went to a party in the student bar for her birthday. I really like the college and hopefully you will get a chance to visit it.

It is the second oldest college in Cambridge after Peterhouse and was founded in 1326. It is on the backs along with Kings College and its bridge over the River Cam is photographed a lot and is one of the oldest on the river. Its choir is world renown.

One thing not well known about Cambridge University is that women were not admitted until 1972 and Clare College was one of the three first ones to admit women as students.
